HARRISONS TAKEOVER SERIES - WHERE CULINARY MASTERS MEET

The celebrated Harrisons Takeover Series makes its much-anticipated return on February 22, 2025, launching a new season of exceptional bi-monthly dining events that showcase Australia's most innovative leading chefs and their award winning brands.

Our guest chefs bring their signature styles and techniques to the Harrisons kitchen, creating dishes that tell their unique culinary story. Wines are carefully selected and paired by notable Australian wineries to complement each course.

Throughout the evening, both guest chef and winemaker will share insights into their creations, adding an educational element to the dining experience. Our waterfront location provides an elegant backdrop for these collaborative dinners, which showcase the best of contemporary Australian cuisine.

Our first event welcomes Ben Williamson, one of Australia's most respected culinary talents and the creative force behind Brisbane's acclaimed Agnes Restaurant. Named Australian Gourmet Traveller's Chef of the Year and recipient of multiple Chef Hats, Williamson has revolutionised fire-cooking in the modern Australian dining scene. His innovative approach at Agnes has earned the restaurant both critical acclaim and a devoted following.

Williamson's menu for the evening will showcase his signature style: precise, refined, and elevated by the transformative power of flame. Guests can expect a thoughtfully crafted progression of dishes that demonstrate why he's considered one of the country's most exciting culinary talents.

Events occur every two months. Seating is limited and bookings are essential. Tickets include all food and beverage.

We are privileged to welcome Chris Ford, one of Queensland's most distinguished beverage experts, as our wine curator for the evening. As the newly appointed FNQ Sales Manager for Suntory Oceania, Chris brings nearly 20 years of wine industry expertise to our table.

His impressive credentials include:

  • WSET Diploma Level 4 certification
  • WSET educator certification
  • Graduate of Michael Fridjhon Wine Judging Academy
  • Cape Wine Academy Diploma
  • PG-Dip in Wine Business (UCT Graduate School of Business)

Chris will present an expertly curated beverage selection to complement each course, providing insights and stories behind each pairing.
